Pools & Spas

A pool is a piece of engineered concrete infrastructure in your backyard with plumbing, electrical, and a permit trail. The finishes are the last ten percent.

How It Actually Goes

Step by step, in plain language.

  1. 01

    Design, layout, and code review

Sun, slope, setbacks, equipment location, and required safety barriers. We stake the shape on site so you see the real footprint before excavation.

  2. 02

    Permits and engineering

Pools are permitted and inspected, and hillside lots often require soils and structural engineering.

  3. 03

    Excavation, steel, plumbing, and shell

Dig, rebar cage, plumbing, then shotcrete or gunite shell, followed by a cure period that cannot be rushed.

  4. 04

    Equipment, electrical, and bonding

Pumps, filtration, heating, and lighting, with bonding and GFCI protection — the safety work that inspection focuses on.

  5. 05

    Decking, tile, plaster, startup

Hardscape, waterline tile, interior finish, then a supervised startup and water chemistry balance, plus a walkthrough of how to run the equipment.
